Notaries have many different jobs other than just notarizing. I was party to a lawsuit in the 90’s where competency was questioned. Thank goodness I keep meticulous notes in my notary journal and watched my grandmother go through Alzheimer’s at the exact same time so I knew what to be aware of. It’s not just a point and sign job!
